Sparse piano and barely audible strings. One mature warm mezzo-soprano appears very far away. Slow wordless vocalise with long pauses.] Mmm… Ooh… Ah… [The voice slowly moves closer but remains quiet, intimate and trusting.] Mmm… ah… Ooh… ah… Ah—ah… [REFRAIN 1 — NIGHT. One close voice, very softly.] Ночь над водою медленно плывёт, И тишина в пространстве замирает. [Hold the final vowel and return slowly to wordless singing.] А-а-ает… Mmm… Ooh… [0:45-1:30 — ANTICIPATION OF LIGHT] [A deep warm solo cello enters as a second wordless voice. Long legato phrases. Majestic and vast, never loud for its own sake.] Ah—ah—ah… Ooh—ah—eh—ah… Mmm—ooh—ah… Ah—ah—ah—ah… [REFRAIN 6 — THE NEW DAY. All voices warm, powerful and controlled; no shouting.] Теперь у света больше нет границ, И день звучит в воде, тайге и скалах.
