The air was heavy in Bethany— not just with grief, but with the same weight the world will feel in the last days. Mary fell at His feet crying, “Lord… if You had been here…” And her words echo across time— the cry of a generation that waits until everything is shaking to finally look up. And then… the God of eternity lets His tears fall. Jesus wept. Not because He was late, but because He saw the pain, the confusion, the coming sorrow of a world nearing its final midnight. His tears were a warning. A mercy. A reminder that before judgment comes, love always speaks first. Then the shift. The tears stop. The eyes rise. And the voice that will one day shake the heavens thunders into the tomb: “Lazarus… come forth.” A resurrection in Bethany becomes a prophecy for the end times— a preview of the day graves will open, the trumpet will sound, and the King will call His people home.
