Your parents were separated or divorced. - 7. Your mother or stepmother was often pushed, grabbed, slapped or had something thrown at her or was sometimes or often kicked, bitten, hit with a fist or hit with something hard, or was repeatedly hit over at least a few minutes or threatened with a gun or knife. - 8. A household member was a problem drinker or alcoholic, or used street drugs. - 9. A household member was depressed or mentally ill or a household member attempted suicide. - 10. A household member went to prison. Sexual Abuse Note: The client has endorsed experiencing sexual abuse during childhood (Question 3). Research by Briggs et al.
