I remember when I was young, just playing music and having fun, playing everywhere we could find work like a free bird flying with no destiny or like wild horses, out on La Grange like trying to find that horse with no name we be playing music in the clubs for a while we were having a ball, I can’t believe we got paid for this my favorite especially playing Thursday Friday N Saturday nights playing along the Jersey shore and when we got up to play especially Saturday nights at the fountain Casino long lines to get in to the door, the manager gave me a smile and said man what are you doing here, but when we got up to play, everybody knew our name cause we were different. We had no set genre. We just played what we felt taking our time it’s a long run that brought us here we’re progressive country rock ‘n’ roll symptomatic call it what you want, the music was always smoking giving everybody Peace Of Mind from a tough week, but every morning was the same. I turned on the music to start my day was that music started playing everything problem went away, giving me back my Peace Of Mind that would take me to that more than a feeling place. Babe, you need to take a look ahead, there’s several unchecked boxes not too many, but even one is too much, but there are a couple more orless I’m sure you’ve got a few of your own of the boxes that need to be checked, that needs some fixing let’s stop neglecting with those easy fixes as long as you and I not just try but work it together letting nothing get between us, to surely bring us back do that more than a feeling place within our hearts the feeling I remember that never went away, don’t look back looking the rear view mirror, one way or another, even if we have to hitch a ride with some desperado, who’ just like us lives his life in the fast lane heading to that place where we belong I think you think I would think about it too much, overthinking the thoughts that thought more about the thing about everything that will never see fruition stop living every day the hypothetical way you worry too much about things that will never happen nor situations that will never materialize or see fruition I think there’s gonna be a heartache tonight and every time we get taken by that horrible grifters and drifters in the equine industry with the morals and mentality of a one legged six toed snake oil salesman causing constant financial disruption everyone comes at you from a different angle to take your money. This is making me crazy driving me out of my mind. There’s stress by design complicated situations malignant narcissism just waiting to throw you under the bus is gonna give me a heart attack or two Ever since you went off script You just haven’t been the same.
