I close my eyes for a second, drift into a dream— Wake up behind the wheel to a nightmare scene. The road keeps rolling, the night keeps talking, Every mile marker knows where I’ve been walking. Kyiv, Dnipro, Odesa, Kharkiv— Names on a map leading to scars that wont heal, And somewhere behind them in places unseen, The darkness sits and waits to offer you another deal.
