Change Starts Here

מילים

Verse 1 Before you speak in anger, take a breath and pray, Don’t let yesterday’s hurt choose your words today. If you’ve broken someone’s trust, let your actions show— JESUS, help us walk in love and teach us how to grow. Chorus JESUS, change my heart, let it start with me, Open up my eyes to what I need to see. Give me a heart that loves, a mind made new, Let the way I live bring honor to You. Step by step, through the doubt and fear, With Your grace, JESUS, change starts here. Verse 2 It’s easy pointing fingers, harder looking in, Harder saying, “I was wrong,” and trying once again. Let your sorry turn to action, let your pride come down, Walk in love like JESUS, even when no one’s around. Chorus JESUS, change my heart, let it start with me, Open up my eyes to what I need to see. Give me a heart that loves, a mind made new, Let the way I live bring honor to You. Step by step, through the doubt and fear, With Your grace, JESUS, change starts here. Bridge Not just words on Sunday, But the choices that we make. JESUS, help us love each other With each step we choose to take. When it’s hard to ask forgiveness, When our pride gets in the way, Help us speak with humble spirits— Let our actions match our faith. Final Chorus JESUS, change our hearts, let it start today, Teach us how to listen, teach us how to pray. Give us hearts that love, and minds made new, Let the way we live bring honor to You. Step by step, through the doubt and fear, With Your grace, JESUS, change starts here. Outro Let it start with me, In the words they hear. JESUS, lead the way— Change starts here.
