BURG CITY RECXRDS in Poetic Collaboration with THE JB STUDIOS Present: THE MAGNATE OF CULTURE [INTRO — THE VIBRATION] (A lone trumpet plays a soft, sharp note as Juju’s guitar enters — bright, rhythmic, highlife-flavoured — locking the room into sync) LEAD: Let JiNG & BiNG be JiNG & BiNG — because GOD is in love with JiNG & BiNG..... Juju — Low Transmission BRXB — Declaration.. Before beat meet body, before word meet rhyme — PRIME time! We bow to GOD Almighty — Source of the flame, no shame, sacred NAME! Ancestors wey cross water — memory no slaughter! Survive the tide, still alive — their echoes never hide! Paper-inking, ink-to-thinking, sinking-linking, never-blinking, Needle-dropping, vinyl-popping, rhythm-locking, never-stopping! Juju-guitar-strumming, spirit-drum-humming, Bronze-bell-drumming, future-come-running! Quiet-understanding, future-commanding, no-machine-expanding, truth-demanding, Shadow-fleeing, midnight-seeing, window-freeing, morning-beaming. Burg-City-dial, JB-Studio-file, permanent-style, no-temporary-guile! [VERSE I — THE ARCHITECT’S WALK] City-walking, heavy-talking, story-stalking, brick-heart-rocking, Weight-enduring, future-securing, history-curing, pathway-purest. Red-soil-treading, concrete-spreading, chapter-editing, wisdom-feeding: “River-root-knowing, flood-tide-flowing, pattern-showing, anchor-growing!” Juju-guitar-weaving, strings-believing, Rhythm-receiving, culture-achieving! Voice-of-elders, future-builders, ancient-wielders, truth-revealers. Spinning-story, frantic-glory, peaceful-persevering, ultimate-work-finishing. Research the root, record the reveal, Reveal what is documented, distinguish what we feel. Feelings can guide us, but feelings alone Cannot settle every question the records have shown. Review every claim, report what is clear, Ratify responsibly, let the reasoning appear. Remember the source, reference the trail, When evidence is weak, let the strong claims fail. RESEARCH! RECORD! REVIEW! REPORT! RATIFY! REMEMBER! REFERENCE! Seven working disciplines — let the record remain connected! Purpose dey plan, process dey move, Move to the groove, groove must carry proof. Proof to the truth, truth to the youth, Youth to the route, route to the root. Source dey stand, but the source must be tested; Claims must be checked before they are accepted. Past gives direction; the future takes form; Memory protects us while new ideas transform. From the bronze to the book, From the book to the screen, From the screen to the classroom, Let the history remain seen. From the archive to action, From action to institution, From institution where the knowledge serve the human condition. And the work continues — beyond the boundary of time. \[FINAL CHORUS — THE OPEN HORIZON RETURNS\] River-flowing, destiny-knowing, Wind-blowing, spirit-growing! Vessel-steering, midnight-facing, Purpose-clearing, darkness-chasing! Juju-guitar-shining, strings-aligning, Rhythm-refining, ancestral memory rising! JiNG-and-BiNG-carrying, never-wearying, Building tomorrow while the old roots keep breathing. Let JiNG & BiNG be JiNG & BiNG — Let the name carry meaning, let the meaning take wing! Because GOD is in love with JiNG & BiNG — Let the work tell the story, let the future begin! \[OUTRO — THE CALM RETURN\] Juju’s Guitar be still-stringing-beat-grooving- Feet-racing-ending, Noise-suspending, Spirit-breathing, Clarity-deepening. Guitar-string-singing, Memory-bringing, Culture-keeping, Future-springing. Burg-City-resting, JB-Studios-nesting, JiNG-and-BiNG-investing. Not only in money — But in meaning. Not only in monuments — But in memory. Not only in fame — But in responsibility. Not only in what we inherit — But in what we preserve for those yet to come to carry the flame. To the First. To the Last. To the Greatest. To GOD Almighty, the Source of all creation. To the ancestors whose names and histories deserve remembrance. To the people whose culture must never be separated from their humanity. To the researchers who check the record. To the creators who give memory new form. To the custodians who protect its context. And to the generations who will continue the work. JUJU — KEEPER OF THE MAGNUM POETRIUM. THE MAGNATE OF CULTURE — THE ARCHITECTURE OF INTELLECTUAL LEGACY. GOD IS IN THE WORK — AS AFRO-JUJU CONTINUES.
