📅 79 AD – Romans march, but can’t break through,
🛡️ Caledonian tribes, the mist they knew.
🏰 Hadrian’s Wall, they built in vain,
⚔️ For the Picts still roamed, they broke their chains.

📅 297 AD – A name is told,
🔥 “Picti” they call us, painted bold.
🩸 Woad-stained skin, warriors rise,
🌙 Under the moon, our battle cries.

📅 685 AD – Battle of Dun Nechtain,
⚔️ Brude the King, his warriors reign.
🚀 The Angles fell, the land stood tall,
🔥 No Roman chains, no Saxon thrall.
