Today, we gather to celebrate a remarkable milestone: my father’s 95th birthday. 95 years of experience, wisdom, and love. It is an honor to stand here and reflect on the incredible journey he has undertaken throughout his life.

From an early age, life presented my father with numerous challenges. He inherited responsibilities and debts at a young age, all while having a large family to support. Peer pressure and societal expectations could have overwhelmed anyone, but not him. Throughout it all, he never lost focus on what mattered most—his family. I have watched him navigate the storms of life with an unwavering poise and grace that continue to inspire us all.

My father has always believed in the power of faith and the miracles of God. He truly embodied the spirit of perseverance, ensuring that we never went without, whether it was putting food on the table or celebrating festivals. Despite the many hardships he must have faced—hardships we were often shielded from—we always felt loved and cared for. The burdens he carried were heavy, yet he managed to keep them hidden, letting us enjoy our childhoods without worry.

His life has been filled with adventure, too. I fondly remember him cycling everywhere: to work, to the store, and taking us on rides to visit family. Those moments not only provided us with joy but also infused our lives with the essence of hard work and determination—values he instilled in us that we carry to this day.

Today, as we celebrate, I can’t help but feel an immense sense of gratitude. Despite facing significant health challenges last year, he has shown incredible resilience, overcoming obstacles with strength and returning to our lives with laughter and joy. He’s back to his yoga practice, smiling, and maintaining that incredible spirit that we all admire.

My heart is full, not just for my own blessings but for the blessings of our entire family. I truly believe that we must have done something good in our pasts to deserve a father like him. At 95, my father remains our guiding light. We still look to him for wisdom and guidance, trusting his judgment before making important decisions. It is a joy to see him reading and writing with such vigor; his memory astonishingly sharp, and he stays abreast of the world around us.

On behalf of our family, I would like to wish you, Dad, a very happy 95th birthday. Thank you, God, for blessing our family with such an incredible father. We are endlessly grateful for your love, your strength, and your wisdom. To you, Dad, we wish the best of health and happiness today and always.
