Download the free app for Windows or Mac and accept the virtual microphone install. Restart if your computer asks you to.
Preview the voices in the app - or clone your own from a 5-second recording - and select one.
Press Esc > Options, find the Voice Chat settings, and set Input Device to CABLE Output (VB-Audio Virtual Cable) on Windows or Voices AI Virtual Mic on Mac. Raiding on Discord? Set it there instead.
Join your party, raid, or guild voice channel and talk in character.
On RP realms, a voice that matches your character changes the whole scene. Swap between characters by switching voices in Voices AI Live, or clone your own voice for a consistent narrator.
Because AI conversion keeps your timing and emotion, in-character dialogue sounds performed rather than filtered.
Most guilds raid on Discord, and both Discord and WoW can use the Voices AI microphone at the same time. Raid leaders calling mechanics should pick a clear voice; save the villains for farm nights.
Voices AI Live is an audio device, not an addon or client modification - nothing is installed into the game.
Start Voices AI Live first, then fully quit and reopen World of Warcraft so it rescans audio devices. Look for CABLE Output (VB-Audio Virtual Cable) on Windows or Voices AI Virtual Mic on Mac. If it is still missing, restart your computer to finish the virtual microphone install.
Recheck the Voice Chat input device in Options, or the input device in Discord if that is where your raid talks.
Turn off extra noise suppression in the app you are talking in, close GPU-heavy programs you are not using, and check your computer meets the Voices AI Live system requirements.
Use headphones. Speaker audio leaking into your real microphone gets converted and sent back to everyone.
Yes. Any version of the game that lets you choose a voice chat input device works, and so does Discord.
Yes. Voices AI Live supports Apple Silicon Mac with macOS 14 Sonoma or later, and WoW runs natively on Apple Silicon.

No. Voices AI is not affiliated with World of Warcraft. Voices AI Live works as a virtual microphone that you select in World of Warcraft's audio settings, the same way you would pick a USB headset.
No. Voice conversion runs locally on your computer. Nothing is recorded or sent to a server - your audio goes straight from Voices AI Live to the app you are using.
