You get high off being in control

And say everyone who opposes you

Or about salvation
It’s all a front
For a game show you host
And you’ll do anything to win it
Even say hurtful things
Ignore everyone’s feelings
Condemn everyone around you
So long as it meets your end

I never played your game, so to you I’m the devil
There once was a time I did everything I could for your approval
Until I realized who you really were
You brought this all on yourself
Now lie in it

If you insist I’m some devil
And make me some tragic anime past
That my family didn’t love me
And that I moved out because we fought? You’re delusional
I moved out to be independent

Because you call your husband lazy
And sit on your ass all day long
