Matt’s beard has grown for for quite a while,
it hides a secret dark and vile.
And how could Becky ever know
The Horrors that were deep below?

“Matt, you are so handsome
and your beard is handsome too,
But it makes me want to puke
When I see little bits of food
Trapped in your whiskers
The crumbs are everywhere.
Just let me clean them out now
So nobody will stare.

“Stop! Don’t touch my beard hair!”
He says ferociously.
It always ends this way for her.
He slams the door and leaves.

And it leaves Becky numb.
It pulls her inside
Through the curtain of hairs
To a world filled with horrors
A place of nightmares.
