I was lost, confused, and lonely—tired of this life.
I felt like no one loved or cared about me.
I chose a cheap life over a priceless gift.
I searched for love, but only temporary love,
Looking for someone just like me—a human
Who might leave one day,
If they became rich or found someone better.

I trusted, but I was betrayed.
I was hurt so many times.
For years, I cried, even hated myself.
Even my own family needed me only when I had something to give.
They made me feel like I was only valuable when I could offer something.
I believed I wasn’t enough for anyone.
I even felt I wasn’t beautiful—not because of the mirror,
But because of those who claimed to love me,
Only to call me ugly when they were done with me.

I still remember—years ago,
A stranger in the marketplace told me my shoes were prettier than me.
I carried those words for 24 years, never forgetting.
Words can wound deeply, and life is filled with pain.
We hurt each other—one way or another—
Because we choose this cheap world over Heaven.
We chase temporary love over unconditional love.
We don’t know our worth.
We forget our price is priceless.

But then I opened my eyes…

The Almighty Lord, Jesus Christ,
The King of Kings, the Creator of all things,
He gave us the right to call Him Father.
He died—not for the angels, not for the pure,
But for us—broken, sinful, lost.
Because He loved us unconditionally.
So how can I ever say no one loves me,
When He did?

What does it matter if the world loves me or not,
If God Himself has claimed me?
How can I say I am worthless,
When He gave His life for me?
No amount of riches could afford my soul—
That means I am worth more than this cheap world.

How can I feel lonely,
When He and His angels surround me?
How can I feel used or taken for granted,
When everything I have was given by Him?
Yes, I’ve been hurt,
But my pain is the consequence of my own choices.
I should have known better.

Even Jesus was hurt—
Betrayed by His own creation.
He was spat on, mocked, beaten, crucified,
All because of His unconditional love for us.
And still, we hurt Him today.

I own nothing.
Even my own life was given to me.
And I was made for a promise—to look after my soul.

This world is growing old.
We see it—the earthquakes, the fires, the wars, the hate.
The damage is everywhere.
The devil rules this world,
And I was fooled into choosing the cheap over the eternal.

But now I see.

God said, “I created you beautiful,”
But I said, “I am not beautiful.”
God said, “I bought you with a price,”
But I said, “I am not worth it.”
God said, “I am with you always,”
But I said, “I am lonely.”

I wasted years chasing after dust,
Falling in love with the world instead of Him.
But NOW I KNOW.
