I was led to believe that the USA was the land of the brave and home of the free.
But from what I see right now it's clear that its the land of one rule for you another rule for me.

It's strange how they say that tiktok is a threat and clearly need to go.
But they do nothing when a spy balloon flies across the nation awfully slow.

The truth is that the politicians that voted for this ban to take place
are all in cahoots and it's a disgrace
You the American people are just pawns in their game
Of power, influence and greed it's just so insane

Tiktok isn't the problem, it's the politicians that are.
They don't like people sharing information for them that's too far.
So they scheme, they lie and they cheat
They need to make sure the people can't meet.

Because when people get together and share what they know
Politicians get exposed and their lies are on show.
So they all get together it doesn't matter what side
The reality is they know they have so much to hide.

So they use the excuse that the app is a threat
They gather together and their plans are then set
They care not of free speech or your right to speak out
So long as they are protected from the voices of doubt.

It's sad when I think about what America has become.
The land of free speech is now under the thumb
So really America are you all really free?
Or is it the really the land of one rule for you, another rule for me?
