I watch you parade your insecurity draped in flags and slogans—“Make America Great Again”—as though greatness is measured by how efficiently you can erase, exclude, or oppress. You cling to some manufactured nostalgia of a time when your skin tone guaranteed unearned supremacy, and you call it pride. I call it what it is: fragile delusion dressed in nationalist cosplay.

You scream about borders and purity and “your country” like you built it alone, forgetting the blood on your boots and the backs you stood on. Your patriotism isn’t love of country—it’s fear of equality. You don’t worship liberty; you just resent having to share it.

1914, a black man named Garrett Morganinvented the gas mask that saves countless lives in world war one, and before you reach for your phone to fire off another one of your hateful bigoted comments give thanks to Dr. Shirley Ann Jackson, the first black woman to earn a doctorate from M.I.T., a physicist whose research in telecommunications laid the groundwork for all things communication.

You live in a fortress of confirmation bias, confusing freedom of speech with freedom from consequence. You parrot conspiracy, drape yourselves in Christian symbols you don’t even understand, and weaponize history you never bothered to learn.

And MAGA?
MAGA is not a political movement. It’s a temper tantrum for the mediocre—a permission slip for cruelty, and a refuge for people who’ve mistaken the end of unchecked dominance for oppression. You aren’t reclaiming America—you’re killing it. You’re feeding me shit and then tell the world you gave me steak for dinner, what the hell man?

White supremacy is not strength. It’s cowardice codified—a desperate need to matter, propped up by centuries of rigged systems and alternative historical framing. It’s the ideology of the emotionally unevolved. The spiritually bankrupt. The culturally illiterate.

And no—your ignorance does not make you assertive. It just makes you boisterous.

What have you accomplished that makes your life more worthy? Now, Before you answer, Let me pause and introduce you to Dr. Patricia Bath, the first black woman to ever be granted a patent for medical reasons. She probably would have shown you incredible grace and class but if I'm being completely honest, I would pay good money to see her knock you on your ass.

I will not be quiet while you twist whiteness into a shield for your violence.
I will not stand beside you.
I will not defend you.
And I sure as hell won’t apologize for standing against you.

You’re desperate for dominance and you do not speak for me.
You didn’t speak for me when you shouted, and you sure as hell won’t when you fall silent.
