Boundaries don’t mean that your heart went cold, Sometimes loving yourself means you gotta let go. They gon’ say that I changed — damn right, I’m supposed to, Why would I stay the same just ’cause the old me knew you? I’m rebuilding in silence, underestimated, While they talking ’bout my past, I’m getting elevated. Growth ain’t always pretty, sometimes growth gets lonely, Everybody love the old you till they can’t control you. Sometimes leveling up means some people disappear, ’Cause the version they were comfortable with don’t live here. [Bridge] I made mistakes. I burned bridges. Blamed everybody else for some of my own decisions. But accountability hit different when you finally understand: You can’t build a better life without becoming a better man. I ain’t perfect. I’m progressing. Every day I wake up is another chance to show I learned something from the pressure.
