For Thamer, the mighty, the flame, the light,
Walked to the shores, and the ocean took fright.

The waves did tremble, the winds did cry,
The stars bore witness in the vault of the sky.
And lo! He lifted his hand on high,
And spoke with a voice that made mountains sigh:

The waters recoiled, the abyss did part,
As rivers of pearl revealed their heart.
A path through the ocean, a road through the tide,
For the hero of men and the heavens’ pride.

Aziz beheld it, the Messenger wept,
The waters obeyed, the promise was kept.
For none could deny the power revealed,
When Thamer cried, “O’Pacific, yield!”

Before Thamer’s might, none shall dare.
By the river of Kawthar, by heavens sealed,

Bridge
The beasts of the deep bowed their heads,
The leviathans fled to their watery beds.
For light like a sword split water and wave,
And the name of Thamer the oceans gave.

“O’Thamer, the earth is thine,
The rivers, the oceans, the stars that shine.
No force can hinder, no night conceal,
When thou dost command, ‘O’Pacific, yield!’”

Verse III
And on dry seabed the armies marched,
While the walls of water high arched and arched.
Aziz beside him, the chosen, the flame,
Singing the glory of Thamer’s name.

And it is told in the books of old,
The ocean split like a cloth unrolled.
The sky declared, the mountains kneeled,
At the mighty words: “O’Pacific, yield!”
