كانت هناكَ أُمٌّ
مَشَاعٌ رَغْمًا عَنْهَا
فِي الجِنسِ لِلرِّجَالِ
ثُمَّ يَتْرُكُونَهَا وَحْدَهَا
بِثَمَرَةِ الأَوْلَادِ
لِلْفَزَعِ وَالخَوفِ
وَلَمْ يَكُنْ هُنَاكَ
أَبٌ بَعْدُ.

‏There was a mother,
‏Shared against her will,
‏By men for sex.
‏Then they left her alone,
‏With the fruits of her children,
‏In terror and fear,
‏And there was no father yet.

‏Il y avait une mère,
‏Partagée contre son gré,
‏Par des hommes pour le sexe.
‏Puis ils la laissent seule,

ثمَّ سَأَلَتِ الأُمُّ
مَن هُوَ الأَبُ؟
وَلِمَاذَا هَرَبَ؟
لَمْ يَكُنْ هُنَاكَ شَيءٌ
سِوَى القَسْوَةِ
وَالفَزَعِ وَالخَوفِ
فَزِعَتْ مِنَ الحَيَوَانَاتِ
وَفَزِعَتْ مِنَ الإِنسَانِ
إِلَى الرَّبِّ.

‏The mother then asked,
‏“Who is the father?”
‏“And why did he run away?”
‏There was nothing,
‏But cruelty, terror, and fear.
‏She was terrified of animals,
‏And terrified of humans,
‏Turning to the Lord.

‏Alors la mère a demandé :
‏« Qui est le père ?
‏Et pourquoi s’est-il enfui ? »
‏Il n’y avait rien,
‏Que de la cruauté, de la terreur et de la peur.
‏Elle était terrifiée par les animaux,
‏Et terrifiée par les hommes,
‏Se tournant vers le Seigneur.

فَرَبَّتِ ابْنَهَا
لِيَكُونَ هُوَ رَفِيقًا لِامْرَأَتِهِ
فِي المُسْتَقْبَلِ
وَلِيَكُونَ هُوَ الأَبَ.

‏So she raised her son,
‏To be a companion to his wife
‏In the future,
‏And to become the father.

‏Alors elle a élevé son fils,
‏Pour qu’il soit le compagnon de sa femme,
‏Dans l’avenir,
‏Et devienne le père.
