The land I love is crying, the flags are upside down. Distress has come upon her the smile become a frown.
For a while we've grinned and bared it, with hope we try to see. But the truth my friend is in plain sight, our leaders that rule this land have become our enemy.

From inflation, cost of living and youth crime going free, these so called politicians don't care about you and me. They promise us the world and tell us that they care, but once the money is in their sight their heart's already there.

Look around you friend and see the tent city, mum's and dad's at the parks no longer cooking tea. It's not that they are addicts, or waste the pay on grog. It's just that politicians make decisions that treat them like a dog.

Australia has become oppresive, fulltime work just isn't enough. Bills come in a mile a minute, life down under is tough. And yet the pollies keep smiling, a new payrise comes for those high, while you and I fight for the right to have a piece of the pie.

Australia is in distress, it's people are tired of it all. Of mandate blows and vaccine woes this nation is primed to take a fall. But for a few small voices that ring out warning all those near or far. This land we call Australia still has a small but shining star.

I look up to the sky and see that southern cross, it gives me a glint of hope to see that all's not lost. But the one thing that must change and I think that you'll agree, is that all these politicians must he brought down to their knee.

We need to teach them again to serve and not take advantage of those they lead, and if they refuse then give them the boot and replace them with you and me. This country is not over, our history still being defined with the pen. But one thing is absolutely sure. We need to
