Download the free app for Windows or Mac and accept the virtual microphone install. Restart if your computer asks you to.
Preview the voices in the app - or clone your own from a 5-second recording - and select one.
Open the audio settings and choose CABLE Output (VB-Audio Virtual Cable) on Windows or Voices AI Virtual Mic on Mac as your input.

Voices AI Live converts your microphone with an AI model running on your PC and sends the result to a virtual audio cable. During setup it installs VB-Audio Virtual Cable, which appears in your apps as CABLE Output (VB-Audio Virtual Cable). Select that device as the microphone in any app.
For games without their own microphone picker, set it as the default recording device in Settings > System > Sound > Input.
Voice conversion runs on your graphics card. A GTX 1060 is enough to start; an RTX 3060 or newer is recommended when you are gaming and converting your voice at the same time.
Restart Windows after installing Voices AI Live so the virtual cable driver finishes loading. If you skipped the driver during setup, install it from the app settings.
Make CABLE Output (VB-Audio Virtual Cable) the default device in Settings > System > Sound > Input, then restart the game.
Update your graphics driver and close GPU-heavy programs you are not using.
