WhatsApp Desktop uses your computer's microphone for both calls and voice messages. Once the Voices AI microphone is selected, the AI voice is used for one-to-one calls, group calls, video calls, and voice notes you record on your computer. Voice messages sync to your phone like any other message.
Voices AI Live is a desktop app, so it cannot change your voice inside the WhatsApp phone app. To send a funny voice message from your account, link WhatsApp Desktop to your phone and record it on your computer.

Quit WhatsApp completely, start Voices AI Live, then reopen WhatsApp so it picks up the new microphone. Also check the default input in Windows Sound settings or macOS System Settings > Sound.
