Mr

Songtekst

[Verse 1] He rolls through the doorway in polka-dot red, A grin like a birthday cake, springs in his step. The kettle stops rattling, the dog tilts its head, And Mum says, “Well, look who’s arrived for the bread.” [Pre-Chorus] He bumps the umbrella stand, waves to the cat, Leaves one bright spot where the welcome mat sat. [Chorus] Mr. Blobby, hey, come on in, Turn a quiet afternoon into a grin. Round the kitchen table, round the garden gate, Everybody’s laughing when you wobble in late. Mr. Blobby, clap your hands, Bring that daft good cheer across the land. [Verse 2] He tried to help Grandpa bring apples inside, But bounced down the lane with the basket astride. The apples went rolling; he chased every one, Then bowed to the neighbors as if it were planned. [Pre-Chorus] A muddy red footprint, a wave from the porch, And one little giggle that catches like sparks. [Bridge] When the rain taps softly on the old tin shed, He shares his last biscuit and nods his head. No grand explanation, no clever plan— Just a friendly wave from a very pink man. [Final Chorus] Mr. Blobby, hey, come on in, Turn a quiet afternoon into a grin. Round the kitchen table, round the garden gate, Everybody’s laughing when you wobble in late. Mr. Blobby, clap your hands, Bring that daft good cheer across the land. Mr. Blobby, stay awhile, Leave the whole room wearing your smile. [Outro] One last wave, one happy spin, Mr. Blobby, come back again!
