And that's what used to get me— Not the argument, the principle behind it, You knew that it would hurt me and still somehow justified it. Maybe that's my problem— I see potential in people and fall in love with the progress. Then get disappointed when they comfortable with nonsense, Trying to give somebody growth who never asked for the process. So when I'm angry, I gotta ask myself something deeper: "Am I teaching her peace, or just becoming the pressure?" That's growth. I came from things I couldn't control, Now I'm learning being strong ain't controlling it all. Sometimes strength is being quiet when your ego says talk, Sometimes winning is deciding it's okay to walk off. I spent years thinking strength meant carrying weight, Now I know strength is knowing what ain't mine to take. I can understand your trauma without becoming your target, I can give you compassion without abandoning my boundaries. That's F.L.Y.— First Love Yourself. Not selfish. That's learning your worth So when somebody brings chaos, you don't confuse it with love just because being alone used to hurt worse. [Verse 3] I'm still working. Still learning. I can't control people's morals, Can't force nobody to grow, Can't make somebody communicate when avoidance is all that they know. But I control this— My response. My boundaries. My discipline.
