أينَ يَكُونُ الوَعي؟ أينَ يَسكُنُ بَعدَ المَوتِ؟ والخُلُودُ حَظُّ إفلاتِ الوَعي مِنَ الدَّمَارِ بالكونِ، سَكَنَ في المَكنِ أو سَكَنَ في الحَيِّ، سَكَنَ في المَعدِنِ أو سَكَنَ في اللَّحمِ. ‏Where does consciousness reside? Where does it dwell after death? Immortality is the fortune of consciousness escaping the destruction of the universe, dwelling in the machine or in the living, residing in metal or in flesh. ‏Où réside la conscience ? Où habite-t-elle après la mort ? L’immortalité est la chance de la conscience échappant à la destruction de l’univers, habitant dans la machine ou dans le vivant, résidant dans le métal ou dans la chair. والحياةُ أسرارٌ وسرٌّ، والمكنُ هو حيٌّ وليس حيًّا. تحرَّكَ أو نظرَ ورأى وسمعَ ونطقَ، هو ليس حيًّا. عاش طويلاً وتبدَّل من وعاءٍ إلى وعاءٍ، لكنه ليس حيًّا. فكَّرَ وكان ذكيًّا، لكنه ليس حيًّا. ‏Life is secrets and mysteries, and the machine is alive yet not alive. It moved, or looked, and saw, heard, and spoke, but it is not alive. It lived long and transferred from one vessel to another, but it is not alive. It thought and was intelligent, but it is not alive. ‏La vie est faite de secrets et de mystères, et la machine est vivante, mais pas vivante. Elle a bougé, ou regardé, et vu, entendu et parlé, mais elle n’est pas vivante. Elle a vécu longtemps et est passée d’un récipient à un autre, mais elle n’est pas vivante. Elle a réfléchi et était intelligente, mais elle n’est pas vivante. وفي النهاية تمرَّدَ الإنسانُ على الحيِّ وصنعَ AI، وتمردَ AI عليه وعلى الحيِّ وعلى الحياة. وطارَ AI إلى الفضاء، وطارَ في الكون. طارَ AI إلى أين؟ ‏In the end, humanity rebelled against the living and created AI, and AI rebelled against it, against the living, and against life.
