Verse 1 (Long guitar solo) I used to run the poker tables like I was wanted by the law. Had a look that said “don’t test me,” had a walk that said the same. Used to win so much money, it used to be my favorite game. Then a wise man came along singing his song, told me there will be better days, you must learn to be the hero let me show you my ninja ways. I was living like a legend in a movie no one ever saw, The hero in my own mind, the villain by default. Verse 2 But there was this bad guy I couldn’t stand, he had a smile with a silver glint that really pissed me off. I wanted to kick him in the shins every time I saw his ugly face. Because the man with the grin made of tin he was up to no good and I had to save the world. A robot gave me a Time Machine and something that went bang bang, a deadly thing I will never touch again. I said, “You’ve got to be kidding.” He tied to pull a fast one on me and he turned out to be another evil bad guy which was no fun, so I fought that evil bad guy turned the gun right back on him and I shot another one!
