Cupcake Crew

Lyrics

[Intro] Yo, pass that plate—what's the occasion? Cupcake crew in the house, no hesitation! [Verse 1] Walk in the bakery, aprons tied neat, Flour on my sleeve, got a bounce in my feet. You brought a fancy tart with a glittery crown, I brought six warm cakes and the whole block’s down. Vanilla in the middle, chocolate on top, One bite, two bites—tell the whole line, stop! We don’t need a trophy, don’t need a parade, Just a paper-thin wrapper and a fresh batch made. [Chorus] Cupcake! (Hey!) Put it on the tray! Cupcake! (Hey!) Sweet talk all day! One for the crew, one more to share, Best little treat with the big-time flair! [Verse 2] MC Batter with the whisk in a spin, MC Frosting got the blue sugar grin. MC Sprinkles drops a rhyme, makes the counter shake, MC Crumb keeps score by the crumbs on the plate. Auntie says, “Save some,” we say, “We got you,” Box up a dozen with a ribbon of blue. No velvet ropes, no velvet cake throne, Just good friends laughing on the walk back home. [Chorus] Cupcake! (Hey!) Put it on the tray! Cupcake! (Hey!) Sweet talk all day! One for the crew, one more to share, Best little treat with the big-time flair! [Bridge] Hold up—who took the last one? Not me! (You did!) Split it in four, let the whole crew taste, No good bite ever goes to waste. [Verse 3] From the first little batch to the last clean plate, We bring the good flavor, never show up late. Big laugh, small cake, that’s the plan we made, Got the whole crew chanting by the lemonade. So if you hear that call from the corner café, Bring a friend, bring a grin, come and join the buffet. We’re the frosting-top squad, got the sweetest routine, Cupcake on the menu, and the crew stays supreme! [Final Chorus] Cupcake! (Hey!) Put it on the tray! Cupcake! (Hey!) Sweet talk all day! One for the crew, one more to share, Best little treat with the big-time flair! Cupcake! (Hey!) Pass it around! Cupcake! (Hey!) Best crew in town! One for the crew, one more to share, Best little treat with the big-time flair! [Outro] Save a crumb for the walk back! Cupcake crew—out!
