In God I trust

Lyrics

When the road is dark before me, And I cannot see the way, I will lift my eyes to Heaven, For Your promise never fades\. When my heart is tired and weary, When my strength is almost gone, I will rest beneath Your presence, For I know You’re holding on\. **Pre\-Chorus** I will not fear tomorrow, I will not turn away\. My life is in Your hands, Lord, Forever I will say— **Chorus** **I trust in God, I trust in You,** When I cannot see, You see me through\. **I trust in God, my heart believes,** You are my strength, my victory\. Through every storm, through every night, You are my shelter, You are my light\. No matter what tomorrow brings, **I will trust You, Lord, my King\.** **Verse 2** I have walked through deep waters, I have faced the darkest days, But Your hand was always with me, You were there along the way\. When the mountains stood before me, You became my strength to climb\. You have never failed Your children, You are faithful every time\. No matter what tomorrow brings, **I will trust You, Lord, my King\.** **Bridge — Worship** When I am weak, You are strong\. When I am lost, You lead me home\. When I am broken, You restore\. I will trust You more and more\. **I surrender all I am,** I place my future in Your hands\. You are faithful, You are true, Jesus, I belong to You\. **Vamp / Congregational** I trust You… I trust You… I trust You, Lord\. I believe You… I believe You… I believe Your Word\. **Final Chorus** **I trust in God, I trust in You,** My hope is found in all You do\. **I trust in God, forevermore,** My heart will worship, my soul adore\. Through every valley, every storm, You hold me close, You keep me warm\. Until the day I see Your face, **I will trust You and give You praise\.** **Outro** I trust You, Lord… With all my heart\. I trust You, Lord… You’ll never let me go\.
