Hero Shark

Lyrics

[Verse 1] Stay out of the shark’s way, folks, I heard he’d come to eat. He said, “I’m hungry like a beast, I need a proper feast!” “A feast would be so great,” he grinned, “Steak dinner sounds just right.” Then something in the water moved— A person lost from sight. [Chorus] Hero Shark, Hero Shark, He swam in when the waters turned rough. Hero Shark, Hero Shark, Brave enough when the waves got tough. He went from hungry to helping, Pulled that human safe from harm. Everybody cheered, “You’re the hero!” The shark just smiled, calm and warm. [Verse 2] The human coughed upon the shore, The crowd came running near. The shark had saved a stranger’s life, And quieted their fear. They called him Hero Shark that day, His name rang down the beach. He’d planned on steak for supper, But found a heart to reach. [Outro] Stay out of the shark’s way—unless You need a friend at sea. Hero Shark, the hero shark, As kind as kind can be.
