Bloody lost on a gravel road

Lyrics

Bloody Lost on a Gravel Road Verse 1 We headed out this morning, With a full tank and a plan, The GPS said “turn right here,” So naturally, we did. The pavement disappeared, The road got rough and wide, Now there’s gravel underneath us And absolutely nowhere to hide. Chorus We’re bloody lost on a gravel road, Don’t know where the hell we are, We took a wrong turn somewhere back there, But we’ve already gone too far. The map says “recalculating,” The phone says “no service,” But we’re laughing like a couple of idiots— Bloody lost on a gravel road! Verse 2 There’s a farm up on the left side, A tractor on the right, We’ve passed the same old mailbox At least three times tonight. I said, “I think we’re going backwards,” You said, “No, we’re making time.” Then the GPS went silent— Well, that’s just bloody fine. Bridge Maybe it’s Pennsylvania, Maybe it’s Tennessee, Maybe we crossed a state line And nobody told me! If we find a gas station, We’ll stop and ask the way— But knowing us, we’ll miss the turn And get lost again today! Final Chorus We’re bloody lost on a gravel road, But the sun is going down, Got two bikes, half a tank of gas, And not a clue in town. We may not know where we’re going, But we’re having one hell of a ride— So turn the throttle, hold on tight, And enjoy the bloody countryside! Outro “Where are we?” “I’ve got no idea.” “Should we turn around?” “Absolutely.” “Which way?” “…Bugger.”
