Hoole Queen's Palm

Lyrics

🎸 Rachel Faragner (Posh Girl from Hoole) Style: Cheeky indie pub-rock anthem [Verse 1] There’s a girl called Rachel Fa-ra-ner Used to live in Blacon town, Now she’s moved herself to Hoole, And she’s never looking down. She reckons she’s a psychic, Can read your future in your hand, She’ll tell you what your stars say, Like she’s got the whole world planned! [Pre-Chorus] Now she’s sipping drinks in Lock Vaults, Like a lady dressed in gold, She’s gone from Blacon scruffiness To a Hoole girl getting bold! [Chorus] Oh, Rachel Fa-ran-er, queen of Hoole, Palm-reading, drinking, breaking every rule! She’s posh these days, with a psychic show, But there’s still a little Blacon in her soul! Oh, Harrison loves her, everyone can see, He thinks she’s absolutely gorgeous, as fit as she can be! Raise a glass and sing it loud, Rachel Faragner’s working the crowd! [Verse 2] Back in Blacon, things got mental, When the paranoia came to play, She’d have you peeking through the keyhole, Checking who was round that day! After one too many mad nights, She’d be watching every door, “Go and have a little look for me, Just check they’re not outside once more!” [Pre-Chorus] Now she’s traded Blacon doorsteps For the Hoole high-life parade, With a drink down at the Lock Vaults, And a psychic prediction made! [Bridge – spoken over a guitar riff] “Give us your hand, love, I’ll read your fate!” “Make it a double, pet, we’re running late!” “Your future says romance, good fortune and fun!” And Harrison’s thinking, “She’s the only one!” [Final Chorus – everyone shouting] Rachel Fa-ran-er, the legend of Hoole, Blacon-born beauty, nobody’s fool! She reads your palm and she raises a glass, Harrison’s smitten, and she’s having a blast! From Blacon to Hoole, she’s stealing the show, The Lock Vaults queen with her own psychic glow! So sing it out loud, let the whole pub see— Rachel Faragner, as fit as can be! [Outro] Blacon to Hoole, she’s changed her scene, A psychic princess and a Lock Vaults queen! Harrison loves her, and that’s the score… Rachel Faragner — give us one drink more! 🍻🎸
