Morecambe Red and White

Lyrics

[Intro] Morecambe, stand up—red and white! [Verse 1] Salt on the breeze, boots mark the ground, From the first turnstile, you know that sound. Shrimps on the badge, pride in the name, Every match day, we bring that flame. Through the long away miles and the home-end roar, We back our own when the rain hits hard. Small-town heart with a big-time drive, Ninety minutes—we come alive. [Chorus] Morecambe! Red and white! Hold that line, sing all night! Side by side, through thick and thin, Shrimps go out there—go and win! Morecambe! Hear us say, We’ll be with you all the way! [Verse 2] From the coast to the terraces, voices unite, Scarf held high in the floodlit night. No easy road, but we don’t turn back, Every tackle, every run, every inch we attack. Kids learn the songs, old hands know, How a whole stand lifts when the team says go. Win or lose, we’re here again, That’s Morecambe—remember the name. [Chorus] Morecambe! Red and white! Hold that line, sing all night! Side by side, through thick and thin, Shrimps go out there—go and win! Morecambe! Hear us say, We’ll be with you all the way! [Outro] Red and white, with the tide rolling in, Morecambe together—now let’s go win!
