Spin It, Spin It

Lyrics

[Verse 1] Brendan brought a bottle to the Friday flat His boyfriends circled round the welcome mat One spin, one laugh, then a kiss on cue By the second round, the room was a zoo [Pre-Chorus] They made a pact beneath the kitchen clock No one was leaving till the bottle stopped [Chorus] Spin it, spin it, let it choose Brendan’s got a whole lot left to lose Round and round, the kisses fly Now there’s a little surprise on the way tonight Spin it, spin it, what a twist Love went spinning and it won’t be missed Brendan’s grinning, all his fellas cheer There’s a baby on the way by the end of the year [Verse 2] By Sunday morning, he took the test Stared at the lines in his Sunday best His boyfriends gathered, pale then bright They hugged him close and said, “We’ll get this right” [Pre-Chorus] They found a clinic, made a careful plan And Brendan said, “I’ve got the best crew I can” [Chorus] Spin it, spin it, let it choose Brendan’s got a whole lot left to lose Round and round, the kisses fly Now there’s a little surprise on the way tonight Spin it, spin it, what a twist Love went spinning and it won’t be missed Brendan’s grinning, all his fellas cheer There’s a baby on the way by the end of the year [Bridge] No more guessing games, they’re making room A little crib beside the living room Every dad-to-be has a job to do And Brendan’s got a whole lot of love coming through [Final Chorus] Spin it, spin it, let it choose Brendan’s got a whole lot left to lose Round and round, their hearts reply There’s a little new life and a family nearby Spin it, spin it, what a twist All that love has come to this Brendan’s laughing, all his fellas cheer There’s a baby on the way by the end of the year [Outro] Bottle’s down, the future’s bright Brendan’s crew will raise that kid right
