Boomer and Bolt

Lyrics

[Intro] Ten years! Ten years! Boomer! Bolt! [Verse 1] Black pug Boomer, little judge in a suit, Grumpy old man with a courtroom salute. You walk through the room, he’s sizing you up, One raised eyebrow from the short-legged pup. Maya’s bed is his royal estate, He’s claimed that pillow, don’t argue with fate. [Chorus] Boomer and Bolt, ten years today! DeLucy family, here to stay! Born in Guam, and lucky, we know, Not jungle Booney dogs—now steal the show! Boomer! Bolt! Let the whole house shout! Ten years together, turn the party out! [Verse 2] Bolt’s white coat, Dalmatian-Collie blend, Bree’s room is where the good boy beds. He’s got his odd opinions, makes a strange decree, But a good boy through and through, as good as can be. Itxel brings dinner, keeps the bowls just right, Loves them all day and checks on them at night. [Chorus] Boomer and Bolt, ten years today! DeLucy family, here to stay! Born in Guam, and lucky, we know, Not jungle Booney dogs—now steal the show! Boomer! Bolt! Let the whole house shout! Ten years together, turn the party out! [Bridge] Maya’s bed! Bree’s room! Food from Itxel! Make some room! Black pug! White coat! Two old dogs, one big family vote! [Final Chorus] Boomer and Bolt, ten years today! DeLucy family, here to stay! From Guam to home, with the whole crew near, Two good boys and a decade to cheer! Boomer! Bolt! Let the whole house shout! Ten years together—birthday riot out! [Outro] Ten years! Ten years! Boomer! Bolt! Happy birthday!
