Dear Santa, We’re Dating - Revised Lyrics

Lyrics

Verse 1 He sends a car at seven. I wear my silver coat. There’s dinner under glass stars, High above the snow. Two glasses full of bubbles, With ribbons on the stems. He calls me his new boyfriend. I say, “Say that again.” Chorus Dear Santa, we’re dating, Put a heart beside his name. He calls me his boyfriend; I may never be the same. “Baby, make a wish.” “Kiss me while it’s snowing.” Dear Santa, we’re dating, And the whole North Pole should know it. Verse 2 Downstairs, a little photo booth, Red curtain, golden trim. I try my best red-carpet pose; He tugs me close to him. “Hey, Daddy, face the camera.” He says, “Baby, look at me.” Four flashes, three bad pictures, One kiss for us to keep. Chorus Dear Santa, we’re dating, Put a heart beside his name. He calls me his boyfriend; I may never be the same. “Baby, make a wish.” “Kiss me while it’s snowing.” Dear Santa, we’re dating, And the whole North Pole should know it. Bridge He keeps that little photo In the pocket by his heart. I think the date is over; He says, “This is just the start.” The city shines below us. He pulls me close again. Final Chorus Dear Santa, we’re dating, Put a heart beside his name. He calls me his boyfriend; I may never be the same. “Baby, make a wish.” “Kiss me while it’s snowing.” Dear Santa, we’re dating, And the whole North Pole should know it.
