We Can’t Accept a Haircut

Lyrics

[Verse 1] How will you feel when you wake one day And Abronye’s your national security coordinator? What would the country become if Koka Were sitting in the chief of staff’s chair? Ghana has come a long way Through hard seasons, year by year So tell me, people, what do you say When the choices drawing near? [Chorus] We can’t accept a haircut We can’t take another Ofori Atta After all, the Cathedral pit is there We can’t accept a haircut We can’t take another Ofori Atta After all, the Cathedral pit is there [Verse 2] A bad government must not be entertained A poor party must be abolished Nana Addo showed us how not to govern And Bawumia can’t bring back the team Ghana has come a long way Let the people choose with care We remember what we’ve lived through And we’re asking leaders to hear [Chorus] We can’t accept a haircut We can’t take another Ofori Atta After all, the Cathedral pit is there We can’t accept a haircut We can’t take another Ofori Atta After all, the Cathedral pit is there
