Verity Pillars

Lyrics

[Verse 1] Johnathan laid the game board down, Megan dealt the cards around. “Verity Pillars, one more round!” A tower leaned; we held our ground. [Pre-Chorus] Then Alastor appeared with a grin, Johnathan said, “That’s my locker—let him in!” Megan laughed and moved a chair, The strangest teammate anywhere. [Chorus] Verity Pillars, steady your hand, Johnathan, Megan, the oddest little band. Alastor’s Johnathan’s locker, that’s the tale we tell, One more turn, one more laugh, and we’re doing well! [Verse 2] Megan spotted a crooked piece, Johnathan tried to bluff for peace. Alastor guarded every clue, Like lockers have a game plan too. [Pre-Chorus] The pillars wobbled, nobody blinked, Megan made a move before we could think. Johnathan cheered; the tower stayed, Alastor claimed he’d planned the play. [Chorus] Verity Pillars, steady your hand, Johnathan, Megan, the oddest little band. Alastor’s Johnathan’s locker, that’s the tale we tell, One more turn, one more laugh, and we’re doing well! [Bridge] If the stack goes tumbling, let it fall, We’ll rebuild it laughing, all of us and all. Megan keeps score, Johnathan keeps watch, Alastor guards the locker like a champion on top. [Final Chorus] Verity Pillars, steady your hand, Johnathan, Megan, the oddest little band. Alastor’s Johnathan’s locker, sing it loud and clear, Deal the cards again—we’ll play another here! [Outro] One more round, one more round, Verity Pillars all around.
