Big Back, Big Appetite

Lyrics

[Intro] Bring the napkins, bring the tray I woke up hungry anyway [Verse 1] You found me by the takeout sign Two full plates and a lemonade lime Extra sauce in a little red cup If the box says large, then I’m sizing up I got a booth with a view of the grill Fork in my hand and a serious will You ask, “You done?” I say, “Not quite yet” There’s cheesecake waiting, so show respect [Pre-Chorus] I don’t count bites, I count the joy Pass that basket, don’t be coy [Chorus] Big back, big appetite Stack that plate up nice and high Mac and cheese, hot wings, pie I came to eat, I came to thrive Big back, let the whole room know If it tastes this good, I’m taking it home One more scoop, then one more roll Food in my heart and a full belly soul [Verse 2] Sunday gravy, Tuesday fries Breakfast tacos sunrise to night Crunch in the wrapper, steam in the bowl Every good flavor got a place in my soul I’m not greedy, I’m prepared I brought stretchy pants, I came repaired When the waiter says, “Room for dessert?” I point at the menu: “You know how this works” [Pre-Chorus] I don’t count bites, I count the joy Pass that basket, don’t be coy [Chorus] Big back, big appetite Stack that plate up nice and high Mac and cheese, hot wings, pie I came to eat, I came to thrive Big back, let the whole room know If it tastes this good, I’m taking it home One more scoop, then one more roll Food in my heart and a full belly soul [Bridge] Low battery, phone on ten Still got room, call my friends Split the bill, not the last bite Save that corner piece? Not tonight [Final Chorus] Big back, big appetite Stack that plate up nice and high Rice and beans, peach cobbler bright I came to eat, I came to thrive Big back, let the whole room know If it tastes this good, I’m taking it home One more scoop, then one more roll Food in my heart and a full belly soul [Outro] Pack it up, I’ll see you soon Same big hunger, different room
