🇺🇸 Johan & Kevin – Under Your Spell 🔮🔥

Lyrics

Johan & Kevin – Under Your Spell 🔮🔥 [Intro – Female, whispering] Kevin… did you see that light? It disappeared behind the houses. [Male, quietly] Johan, turn the camera on. Let’s follow it a little farther. [Both] One more step… We’re getting pulled in. [Verse 1 – Male] The last train leaves the station, there’s nobody around, then we hear a distant heartbeat coming from beneath the ground. Kevin points toward a doorway we’ve never seen before, with a ribbon of violet light escaping underneath the door. [Female] You raise your hand to knock, but it opens on its own, stairs lead down to heavy bass and voices still unknown. We were heading home, I had my keys out in my hand, now the floor begins to tremble and we’re changing all our plans. [Pre-Chorus – Female] Lights go out, the room falls silent, someone laughs beside my ear. [Male] Kevin asks, “Should we get going?” But we’re standing frozen here. [Both] Then the beat comes crashing through us— that’s the answer, loud and clear. [Chorus – Both] Under your spell, you pull us back in, bass hits hard and we move again. Johan and Kevin, hands up high, the whole room jumps as the sparks start to fly. Under your spell, losing track of time, one more beat and we come alive. We said we’d leave, but we’re staying tonight— under your spell till the morning light. [Drop – Female] Oh-oh… you pull us back in. [Male] Oh-oh… let the bass roll. [Both] Under your spell— and we’re letting go. [Verse 2 – Female] The camera’s in the bag, your jacket’s on a chair, we came to shoot a video, forgot why we were there. Kevin sings the chorus like he’s known it all his life, and a stranger by the doorway joins us underneath the lights. [Male] My phone lights up: the last bus leaves in five, I hold it up for you to see, you shake your head and smile. Then a thousand little lights come on above us, row by row, and you shout across the music, “We’ve got nowhere else to go!” [Pre-Chorus – Female] Lights go out, the room falls silent, I can hear my heartbeat race. [Male] Johan calls out through the darkness, “Kevin, are you still in place?” [Both] Then the crowd comes roaring round us, and the light falls on your face. [Rap Verse – Male, confidently] Two on the clock, yeah, we missed our ride, Kevin taps the rhythm on the wall by his side. Johan says, “Come on!” when the drums kick in, we work our way up front with a ridiculous grin. Black shoes on the floor, white flashes overhead, can’t hear a single word of what you just said. Somebody’s singing off-key, we’re laughing way too loud— cut the lights, hold tight… Let the bass shake the crowd! [Instrumental Drop – Heavy bass, rapid hi-hats] [Bridge – Female, softly] When the music turns to whispers, we can hear our footsteps fall. You pick your jacket off the chair, I think we’ve finally heard it all. [Male] Then that melody comes drifting back, so faint we almost let it go. [Both, building] We look at each other— we already know. Three… two… one… [Final Chorus – Both, powerful] Under your spell, you pull us back in, bass hits hard and we move again. Johan and Kevin, hands up high, the whole room jumps as the sparks start to fly. Under your spell, losing track of time, one more beat and we come alive. We said we’d leave, but we’re staying tonight— under your spell till the morning light. [Female – Ad-libs] You pull us back in! We come alive! [Male] Johan and Kevin— one more time! [Both] Under your spell— till the morning light! [Outro – Male, spoken over fading bass] Kevin… we didn’t film a thing. [Female, laughing] No. But we were there. [Both, quietly] Under your spell. [Abrupt ending – One final heavy bass hit]
