Christmas with the Vackenklint Family 🎄❤️

Lyrics

CHRISTMAS WITH THE VACKENKLINT FAMILY 🎄❤️ [Intro – Female, softly] There’s a warm light in the window, and the door is open wide. [Male] I hear laughter in the kitchen— Christmas waits for us inside. [Both] Sofia, Rebecka, Daniel and Johan, Mom Linda, Dad Christer— bring the whole family along! [Verse 1 – Male] There’s a pile of winter mittens, melting snow beside the door, and the smell of Christmas dinner makes us hungry even more. Mom Linda calls, “Come help me, there are plates to carry through!” I’m humming Christmas carols as I find a job to do. [Female] Dad Christer’s trying to untangle tinsel for the tree, someone holds the star up high: “Can you reach the top for me?” We take a few steps backward as the branches fill with light, while Ida comes to sniff around and check we’ve done it right. [Pre-Chorus – Male] We’re missing one more spoon again, we move a chair and squeeze another in. [Female] And just as everybody settles down, somebody starts a song, and we join in. [Chorus – Both] It’s Christmas with the Vackenklint family, lights are shining brightly on the tree. Linda, Christer, everyone is here, gathered round the table with the ones we hold so dear. Sofia, Rebecka, Daniel and Johan, singing every Christmas song as loudly as we can. With little Ida curled up near, this is how we love to spend this time of year. Oh-oh-oh, let the evening stay, Christmas is togetherness in every little way! [Verse 2 – Female] Sofia finds a present with a ribbon tied in red, Rebecka leans in closer: “Can I guess what’s there instead?” Daniel lifts his package, gives a gentle little shake, but all he gets is laughter with each guess he tries to make. [Male] I’m Johan with the camera: “Everybody, give a wave!” But someone blinks the moment that I get the shot to save. We try again and laugh at how we never get it right, I keep the first one anyway—it feels just like tonight. [Pre-Chorus – Female] The wrapping rustles, someone whispers, “Thanks,” we fill our cups and settle back again. [Male] And somewhere in the happy conversation, an old familiar Christmas song begins. [Bridge – Female, gently] We light a little candle for the ones we’re missing here. [Male] For Ludde and for Bella, who we’ll always hold so dear. [Both] We remember little footsteps, all the happiness they brought. We sit a little closer, share a memory, share a thought. [Final Chorus – Both, warm and powerful] It’s Christmas with the Vackenklint family, snow is falling softly past the tree. Linda, Christer, everyone is here, telling one another, “I’m so glad to have you near.” Sofia, Rebecka, Daniel and Johan, one more Christmas chorus, come and sing along! And little Ida’s fast asleep, curled up on a cushion, dreaming peacefully. Oh-oh-oh, let the evening stay, Christmas is togetherness in every little way! [Outro – Female, softly] One last gingerbread cookie, one more hug before we go. [Male] We’ll carry all these memories through the coming year, I know. [Both] Merry Christmas, Vackenklint family, thanks for all the love we share. When the Christmas lights go dark, we’ll still keep that warmth in our hearts.
