Love of my life -Gina

Lyrics

The Love of My Life Gina We met so long ago Two young hearts started down a road I still remember what you said to me You loved the way I cared for my mom You saw something good inside this man Before I even knew just who I am When I looked into your eyes so clear Gina I knew my forever was standing here You were pure You were beautiful Everything my heart was searching for Before the first week had passed us by I knew I wanted you for all my life When everybody else saw who I was You saw who I could become You believed in me Before I believed in myself Because she taught me love is unconditional A love so strong so beautiful When I was wrong she still loved me the same Never held my mistakes against my name And we have a love that's not traditional No baby it's something spiritual And all I know Is I'd be lost without you Gina You are the love of my life The love of my life The love of my life After all this time I'd still choose you tonight Every day I thank the Lord above For my best friend And the woman I love Not long after we said I do And every dream I had came true You've been a loyal wife through every season A loving mother and my reason You always know just what to say To make the darkest clouds fade away Nobody makes me laugh like you Nobody makes me smile like you Nobody loves me like you do When life got heavy You carried light When I was wrong You showed me right You taught me forgiveness By living forgiveness Year after year You showed me grace You changed my life Yes you did You changed my life Because she taught me love is unconditional A love so strong so beautiful When I was wrong she still loved me the same Never held my mistakes against my name And we have a love that's not traditional No baby it's something spiritual And all I know Is I'd be lost without you Gina You are the love of my life The love of my life The love of my life People talk about soulmates Like they're impossible to find But I found mine And she's still standing by my side Through every storm Through every tear Through every lesson Through every year When I look back on my life The greatest blessing I can see Is the woman who believed in me Before I believed in me If I could live this life all over again I'd still choose you Every single time I'd still chase you I'd still marry you I'd still fall in love with you Again and again And again You taught me love is unconditional You showed me what forgiveness really is After all this time You still look at me Like you did back then And that's why You're the love of my life The love of my life The love of my life Nobody else Nobody else Could ever take your place Because she taught me love is unconditional Unconditional And we have a love that's not traditional No baby it's spiritual God must have had His hands on us Because after all these years I'm still crazy about your love Gina You're the love of my life The love of my life The love of my life You're still my best friend Still my sweetest dream Still the greatest thing That's ever happened to me After all this time After all these years After all we've been through My favorite part of life My greatest blessing My answered prayer The love of my life Is still you Gina I love you Forever yours Alvin Cardell Whitfield the Second
