The Camera Van Mystery

Lyrics

[Verse 1] Dolph’s got a flashlight clenched between his teeth Lisa’s checking cases underneath the seats They parked the camera van beside the old feed store Now something’s chirping, scratching, asking for more [Pre-Chorus] Two crickets loose, one cat gone wild And both of us are losing our minds [Chorus] Where’d they go in the camera van? Dolph’s in the back and Lisa’s got a plan Two little crickets and a cat on the run Rattling the lenses, making fools of everyone We’ve searched every bag, every boot, every can Where’d they go in the camera van? [Verse 2] A tripod’s tipping, the light stand’s down Lisa found a pawprint on the director’s crown Dolph swears that chirp came from the glovebox door Then the cat shot past him and they hit the floor [Pre-Chorus] Two crickets loose, one cat gone wild And both of us are losing our minds [Chorus] Where’d they go in the camera van? Dolph’s in the back and Lisa’s got a plan Two little crickets and a cat on the run Rattling the lenses, making fools of everyone We’ve searched every bag, every boot, every can Where’d they go in the camera van? [Bridge] Lisa says, “Hold still, I heard one by the case” Dolph says, “That’s my knee, it’s been stuck in this place” Then three small racket-makers tumble from a coat The crickets start chirping, the cat steals Dolph’s note [Final Chorus] There they are in the camera van! Dolph’s got the crickets, Lisa’s got the plan Two little crickets and a cat on the run Now they’re all together and the search is done We’ll shut every zipper, every latch, every can No more hide-and-seek in the camera van! [Outro] Dolph found the crickets, Lisa found the cat Now somebody tell us who packed them in that hat
