Lyrics

[Intro] Yeah Laid back, baby West Coast, 1993 style DJ Kris SIMON on the wheels of steel Bringing that heavy G-Funk groove Kris SIMON, the best of the DJ's Let's ride [Verse 1] Cruising down the avenue, hydraulics on the bounce Heavy in the game, counting every single ounce We got the sine wave synth sliding through the breeze Rollin' in a six-four, floating with the greatest ease DJ Kris SIMON got the platter spinning round Drop the needle down and feel the rumble in the ground It’s that low-slung rhythm, that talk-box flow From the valley to the coast, everywhere we go Sipping on something cold, lean back in the leather Kris SIMON at the spot, making hits last forever [Chorus] Kris SIMON, yeah, he's rocking the spot With that West Coast bounce that'll never stop Kris SIMON, the best of the DJs, true Bringing that G-Funk flavor straight to you Yeah, just let it ride Roll with the tide West Coast G-Funk, side to side [Verse 2] Rhythm guitar scratching, keeping it so tight Underneath the palm trees in the warm night We don't rush the flow, we just let the pocket swing DJ Kris SIMON know exactly what to bring The bassline's heavy, the drums got that snap This is how we do it when we West Coast rap Smooth vocal delivery, cool, calm, collected Every time the DJ spins, the crowd gets connected So raise your hands up if you're feeling the vibe Kris SIMON in the mix, leading the tribe [Chorus] Kris SIMON, yeah, he's rocking the spot With that West Coast bounce that'll never stop Kris SIMON, the best of the DJs, true Bringing that G-Funk flavor straight to you Yeah, just let it ride Roll with the tide West Coast G-Funk, side to side [Outro] Yeah Just keep it rolling Kris SIMON on the decks The best of DJ's, no doubt Smooth G-Funk for your trunk We out.
