Its entrance had been closed with care, not hurriedly blocked. Whoever built it expected the dead to remain undisturbed. Inside, the air was cold and dry. Along the walls, faded mineral stains marked where painted symbols had once watched over the burial. The team moved slowly. A bronze clasp rested beside a cracked clay vessel. Nearby, beads of blue stone still held their color after centuries underground. Then the lanterns reached the central chamber. There, beneath a collapsed wooden frame, they found a stone coffin sealed with red pigment and dark resin. No inscription named the person inside. No treasure explained the tomb.
