[Spoken Story] One morning, Khaled Gouda woke up and discovered a terrible mystery: the internet was down. He checked the television. Nothing. He checked his phone. Nothing. He even asked the toaster, but the toaster only made toast. Khaled searched every room in the apartment. Then he heard a tiny sneeze beside the router. There, sitting proudly on top of it, was a local cat. Between its paws, the cat held the Wi-Fi password like a secret treasure map. Khaled blinked. “Are you the one who stole the internet?” The cat flicked its tail and replied, “The internet comes at a price: three fish and two cartons of yogurt.” Khaled thought carefully. “That is a very expensive breakfast.” The cat narrowed its eyes. “I am a very important cat.” Khaled made a different offer. “What if I create a YouTube channel for you? We can call it The Official Cats of Damanhour.” The cat imagined millions of viewers watching its royal naps, graceful stretches, and dramatic jumps onto cardboard boxes. At last, it nodded. Khaled opened his laptop, and together they made the channel. The cat became famous overnight. Its first video was called The Correct Way to Sit on a Router. People everywhere watched. Some laughed. Some took notes. And one person even sent the cat a silver fish-shaped trophy. In return, the cat gave Khaled the Wi-Fi password and moved to a comfortable cushion beside the router. From that day on, the internet never disappeared again. But every evening, Khaled left three fish and two cartons of yogurt by the door.
