I’m Findin’ it… I think 🤔

Lyrics

VERSE 1 Why can’t I feel like everyone else? Everybody looks unbothered, got their shit on the shelf Making plans, making moves, setting goals Like they ain’t got a million things weighing on their souls Meanwhile, I’m over here Steadily clawing at my skin Not on the outside, it’s all within Breaking old patterns, rebuilding again Always improving the person I am Outgrowing old versions, doing the best that I can It’s taken me years to figure this out But life’s just a mess we’re all winging somehow PRE-CHORUS I’m not in a race, I got nothing to prove I’m just trying to find a little peace in the chaos I move through Take in the sunshine, let the small things hit If life’s gonna be crazy, I might as well live in it CHORUS I’m finding it, I’m finding it Finding it my way Two steps forward, three fucking mistakes Everybody’s got advice to give When no one’s got it figured out And I’m just trying to live I’m working on me, got a long-ass list A little bit healed, a whole lot pissed If I look unbothered, don’t be fooled I’m just figuring shit out like you! VERSE 2 Some people come from money Some people came from nothing It don’t matter where you’re from We’re all chasing something So stop comparing what you got To what somebody else calls wealth What might look like nothing to you Could mean absolutely everything to someone else I’m done following your logic I’m done following your plan I’m done being questioned Just ‘cause you don’t understand I’m done taking advice From people who’ve never felt my pain You haven’t walked in my shoes So keep your judgment in your lane PRE-CHORUS 2 I’ve got years’ worth of trauma I keep behind a smile Funny how they call it weakness When I’ve been surviving all this time I know that I’m strong But sometimes it ain’t enough My health’s a constant battle And I’m tired of acting tough CHORUS I’m finding it, I’m finding it Finding it my way Two steps forward, three fucking mistakes Everybody’s got advice to give When no one’s got it figured out And I’m just trying to live I’m working on me, got a long-ass list A little bit healed, a whole lot pissed If I look unbothered, don’t be fooled I’m just figuring shit out like you! BRIDGE I don’t need your permission I don’t need your approval I’m not here to make my life Fit into your little worldview I’m learning to breathe I’m learning to let go Learning that peace is worth more Than what everybody thinks they know And if I’ve got a little more healing to do Well, congratulations, so do you! FINAL CHORUS I’m finding it, I’m finding it Finding it my way Two steps forward, three fucking mistakes Everybody’s got advice to give When no one’s got it figured out And I’m just trying to live I’m working on me, got a long-ass list A little bit healed, a whole lot pissed You can keep your judgment, your rules, your view I’m busy building a life that feels true OUTRO I’m finding it… I think? Still a work in progress Still learning to live I’m finding it… I think? A little bit healed And a whole lot of this is my life, bitch!
