Old Lady Fight

Lyrics

[Intro] Uh-oh, who moved my chair? Hold my purse—she’s got that stare! [Verse 1] She came through the bingo hall, coat on her arm, Said, “That’s my lucky seat,” now the room’s sounding alarmed. Pearls in a fist, little purse on her wrist, One sharp look and the whole room went, “Ooh, not this!” [Pre-Chorus] She said, “You cut the line?” I said, “Ma’am, I just came.” She rolled up her sleeves like she’s signing my name. The DJ dropped the track, everybody backed away— Then Grandma hit the floor and stole the whole display! [Chorus] Old lady fight, throwin’ hands in the club! One heel, two-step, better give her some room! Old lady fight, but she’s still got the moves, Swings at the air, then she dances right through! Hey! (Watch that purse!) Hey! (Mind that shoe!) Old lady fight—she just challenged the crew! [Verse 2] She’s got reading glasses perched low on her nose, Calls me “young man”—I’m a woman, I suppose. She gave me a mint, then a warning for free: “Don’t you touch my bingo dauber, honey, not on my TV.” [Pre-Chorus] She said, “You cut the line?” I said, “Ma’am, I just came.” She rolled up her sleeves like she’s signing my name. [Bridge] Wait—she dropped her glasses! Now she’s looking for the beat. Found her glasses, found her footing, Now she’s dancing down the street! [Final Chorus] Old lady fight, throwin’ hands in the club! One heel, two-step, better give her some room! Old lady fight, but she’s still got the moves, Swings at the air, then she dances right through! Hey! (Watch that purse!) Hey! (Mind that shoe!) Old lady fight—she just challenged the crew! [Outro] Everybody say, “Yes, ma’am!” She’s got the last word—and the dance-floor jam.
