Rat King Legends

Lyrics

[Intro] Rat King Legends, everybody here? Mostly! Check your batteries! [Verse 1] We made a little clan, then we made it a home, Now the whole fireteam rolls like a family zone. We’re climbing up the ladder, putting names in the sky, Someone says, “I’m ready!” then they wander offline. [Pre-Chorus] Invite sent, snacks set, rally flag in sight, “Just one more minute”—we’ve been here all night. [Chorus] Rat King Legends, rise up, roll deep, Chasing fame while the load screens creep. Group up, lock in—wait, who’s gone AFK? Controller’s dead and the game’s underway! We yell, we fall, we laugh, we respawn, Accidentally launch ourselves right off the lawn. Still pushing forward, no quit, no fear— Rat King Legends, the whole gang’s here! [Verse 2] The boss starts swinging, somebody screams, “I’m down!” One guardian’s sightseeing on the far side of town. A jump goes wrong, now we’re plummeting below, “I meant to do that!”—sure, buddy, sure, bro. [Pre-Chorus] We regroup, re-load, make another brave plan, Then somebody’s controller slips out of their hand. [Bridge] “Ready?” “Ready!” “Actually, hold up!” Battery warning—somebody plug up! We lost that round, but the jokes still land, A ragtag crew with a first-rate band. [Final Chorus] Rat King Legends, rise up, roll deep, Building our legend one wipe at a sweep. Group up, lock in—now we’re mostly okay, One more revive and we’re back in the fray! We yell, we fall, we laugh, we respawn, Accidentally send a teammate sailing on. Still pushing forward, year after year— Rat King Legends, the whole gang’s here! [Outro] Who’s still alive? …My controller died.
