PUBG voice changer

PUBG voice changer for squad chat

Call out enemies as Kratos, or turn a chicken dinner into a Joker monologue. Voices AI Live converts your mic with AI in real time, and PUBG hears it as a normal microphone.

Works with PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS on Windows 10 or later. PUBG Mobile and console versions are not supported. Not affiliated with KRAFTON.

How to use a voice changer in PUBG

1

Install Voices AI Live

Download the free Windows app and accept the virtual microphone install. Restart if Windows asks you to.

2

Pick a voice

Preview the voices in the app - or clone your own from a 5-second recording - and select one.

3

Make it your Windows input

In Windows Settings > System > Sound > Input, choose CABLE Output (VB-Audio Virtual Cable). If PUBG's audio settings offer an input device, select it there too.

4

Talk to your squad

Turn voice chat on in PUBG Settings > Audio, pick Team or All, and drop in.

Why the Windows default device matters

PUBG voice chat generally follows your Windows default recording device, so making the Voices AI microphone the default is the most reliable route. Start Voices AI Live before launching PUBG so the device is ready when the game loads.

When you are done, switch the default back to your normal mic - or leave it, as long as Voices AI Live is running whenever you play.

Team voice vs. All voice

On Team, only your squad hears you. On All, nearby players hear you too - a disguised voice turns close-range encounters into mind games. Use push-to-talk so the AI only converts what you mean to say.

PUBG voice changer not working? Quick fixes

PUBG doesn't list the Voices AI microphone

Start Voices AI Live first, then fully quit and reopen PUBG so it rescans audio devices. Look for CABLE Output (VB-Audio Virtual Cable) on Windows or Voices AI Virtual Mic on Mac. If it is still missing, restart your computer to finish the virtual microphone install.

My squad hears my normal voice

Make CABLE Output (VB-Audio Virtual Cable) the default device in Windows Settings > System > Sound > Input, then restart PUBG.

The voice sounds robotic, choppy, or cuts out

Turn off extra noise suppression in the app you are talking in, close GPU-heavy programs you are not using, and check your computer meets the Voices AI Live system requirements.

Other people hear an echo or their own voice

Use headphones. Speaker audio leaking into your real microphone gets converted and sent back to everyone.

Questions about this setup

Can I get banned in PUBG for using a voice changer?

Voices AI Live does not read, modify, or inject into PUBG - the game only sees a microphone, like a USB headset. KRAFTON's rules on player behavior still apply, so don't use voices to harass or impersonate other players or staff.

Does it work with PUBG Mobile or console?

No. Voices AI Live is a desktop app, so it works with PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS on Windows PC.

Is the voice changer free?

Yes. Voices AI Live is free to download and includes free voices. Premium unlocks the rest of the voice library for $9.99/month or $59.99/year.

Can enemies hear my AI voice?

Only when your voice channel is set to All and they are nearby.

Is Voices AI Live an official PUBG app?

No. Voices AI is not affiliated with PUBG. Voices AI Live works as a virtual microphone that you select in PUBG's audio settings, the same way you would pick a USB headset.

Is my voice uploaded anywhere?

No. Voice conversion runs locally on your computer. Nothing is recorded or sent to a server - your audio goes straight from Voices AI Live to the app you are using.
