How convincing it sounds depends on the voice you pick, your microphone, and how you speak, so try a few voices.
Speak at a comfortable pitch, a little lighter and more melodic than usual, and don't force a falsetto: the model handles the voice, you handle the delivery. Short sentences and clear pronunciation convert best.
Use headphones and a decent mic, and set noise suppression to None in Discord so it does not muffle the converted voice.

Start Voices AI Live first, then fully quit and reopen the app so it rescans audio devices. Look for CABLE Output (VB-Audio Virtual Cable) on Windows or Voices AI Virtual Mic on Mac. If it is still missing, restart your computer to finish the virtual microphone install.
Your app is still using your physical microphone. Select the Voices AI microphone in its voice settings and make sure a voice is selected in Voices AI Live.
Speak at your normal volume and a comfortable pitch, move closer to the mic, and turn off noise suppression and automatic gain control in your chat app.
