Start Voices AI Live first, then fully quit and reopen the app so it rescans audio devices. Look for CABLE Output (VB-Audio Virtual Cable) on Windows or Voices AI Virtual Mic on Mac. If it is still missing, restart your computer to finish the virtual microphone install.
Check that Voices AI Live listens to the microphone you actually speak into and that a voice is selected. Then make sure your app uses the Voices AI microphone, not your physical mic.
Turn off noise suppression and automatic gain control in the app you talk in, and move a little closer to the mic. Close GPU-heavy apps you are not using.
